วันที่ 25 ธ.ค. 64 เวลาประมาณ 21.45 น. Mr. Alexander Huynh นักท่องเที่ยวสัญชาติอเมริกามาที่ตำรวจสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิแจ้งว่าตนได้ลืมโทรศัพท์มือถือ Samsung รุ่น S20 สีน้ำเงินเข้มไว้บนรถแท็กซี่คันหนึ่งซึ่งโดยสารมาจากบางกะปิ และจำหมายเลขทะเบียนรถไม่ได้
ตำรวจท่องเที่ยวสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิภายใต้การกำกับของ พันตำรวจเอก มิลิน เพียรช่าง ได้สอบถามหมายเลขโทรศัพท์ และได้ประสานหน่วยงานเกี่ยวข้องจนสามารถติดต่อคนขับแท็กซี่ได้ ซึ่งทราบภายหลังคือ นายมะลิ เอี่ยมเจริญ ขับรถแท็กซี่หมายเลขทะเบียน ทส4271 จึงได้ประสานให้นานมะลิฯ ขับรถนำโทรศัพท์มือถือมาคืนให้นักท่องเที่ยว
ต่อมาเวลาประมาณ 22.15 น. นายมะลิฯ ได้นำโทรศัพท์มือถือดังกล่าวมาส่งคืนให้ Mr. Alexander Huynh เป็นที่เรียบร้อยสร้างความประทับใจให้กับนักท่องเที่ยวเป็นอย่างมาก
นับว่า เป็นบรรยากาศการท่องเที่ยวที่สร้างสรรค์มากหลังจากเปิดประเทศ ซึ่ง พล.ต.ต. อภิชาติ สุริบุญญา รองผู้บัญขาการท่องเที่ยวในฐานะโฆษกของกองบัญชาการฯ ได้กล่าวชื่นชมตำรวจท่องเที่ยวสุวรรณภูมิว่า ได้ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ตามนโยบายของกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยว สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ และผู้บังคับบัญชาได้อย่างดีเยี่ยมและมี service mind ที่ช่วยเหลือนักท่องเที่ยวอย่างแท้จริง
นอกจากนี้ ยังฝากย้ำนักท่องเที่ยวไทยและต่างชาติทุกท่านว่า หากติดขัดปัญหาที่ไหนและต้องการความช่วยเหลือจากตำรวจท่องเที่ยวขอให้โทรไปยังหมายเลข 1155 หรือ ดาวน์โหลดแอพพลิเคชัน Tourist Police I-lert-U ก็สามารถติดต่อตำรวจท่องเที่ยวได้ทันที

Tourist police reassure property not lost in Thailand
